some functionalities hidden behind a pay wall.
I couldn’t make use of grid snapping (or it is restricted, for instance I had magnet like behaviour for the second point of a rectangle, but not the first)
no symbols, no connectors.
use model confuse me a lot. More that Infinite Design. For Infinite Design I’m wondering if some behaviors are bugs or the result of a confusing use model. For Vector Ink, the confusing aspects is there for sure (how are we supposed to end a Bésier’s curve?), perhaps compounded with bugs.
some things are cool. The separation of the displacement vector from the selection is very useful on a tablet, especially when using your fingers, but even with a stylus.
other cool thing: the possibility to edit previous points while creating a curve.
it has interesting alignment features with surrounding shapes.
Summary: As Skedio, too simple for artists, not featureful enough to be a specialized application. Closer than Skedio of what I’m looking for, but one has to make sense of its use model and the lack of symbols and connectors make it bad enough that I want still something else.
